What a waist of time...... ahhhhh!!!

I just don't even know where to start.... This morning I got off of work at 8am, the plan for the day was to go to Desert Pines High School and withdrawl Samson from school so we can register/enroll him into Liberty High School tomorrow.... That was the plan.... Day was going pretty good in the morning....I came home from work to start my day....all was well. I get changed to make sure I look like a mother instead of Samsons sister hehe.... Anyways, so I drive all the way to Desert Pines on Pacos and Harris.... Thats a 20 minute drive at least.... Well we get there at around 955. Samson, Sydney and I walk into the office and stop at the first desk, the lady there asks if she could help me, I tell her I need to withdrawl my son out of school, she directs me to the "middle desk" which by the looks of it is the attendence desk. Behind the desk there is a young lady, she is obviously working on something so I stand there patiently. One, Two, Three, Ten minutes go by, she never even looked up at me, she didnt even say a word, all the while she is still tapping away at her computer.... and giving out tardy slips or something....but I swear I was standing there.... I see myself, I see Samson, I see Sydney, I see HER!!! But somehow she doesnt see me, at least thats what it seemed like. Anyways I get a bit fed up so I walk over to the first desk again, now I'm standing behind another lady who was being helped at the time. There I am again waiting, not patiently I'm very irritated!!! I ask Samson "is that girl at the desk a student or a faculty member?" He tells me she works for the school. So when the first lady is free again I tell her that I was there to "withdrawl" my son from the school not only for the day... She again tells me that its the "middle desk" again, I told her that she (the girl at the attendence desk) had not said a word to me the whole time I was standing there. So she walks me over to the same desk and tells the girl "this lady needs to withdrawl her son" the girl says "i'm working on three withdrawls right now" first lady says "there you go, she's working on three right now" I say "well she should have said something to me". You know I would have accepted a "hi", "hello","i'll be right with you", "sorry this might take a while", "drop dead" anything!!! I just wanted to know that I was not crazy and that I was visible and standing there. Acknowlegment!!! Is that so much??? If she had said something to me I would have sat there for an hour and not have a problem... Problem is she just ignored me.... Anyways after waiting for another 35 minutes or so I finally get my turn to talk to this person. I tell her "I need to withdrawl my son out of this school" she asks me "are you moving" I said "yes" she says "do you have an address" her hands were implying an envelope or some kind of proof of address. So I say "well I can give you the address, I dont have a bill or anything because my Son and my Husband will be staying with my cousin until we can find a place of our own, meanwhile I would like to withdrawl my son so he can reg/enroll into his new school." She procedes to tell me that I need a residential affidavit signed by my cousin and signed by a notary saying that we are staying with them... I'm a bit confused at this part because I just want to take him out of scholl!!! She proceeds to tell me this in theeee most stupid way possible!!! She is telling me something about the swap meet, meaning somewhere at the swap meet there is a Notary, I'm totally confused as to why she is telling me "you know like at the swap meet, form you need sign paper from cousin and bill" at least that is what it sounded like to me. I say to her " What are you talking about swap meet?, are you saying I need to have a residential affidavit?" she says "yes" So I ask her for one she says they don't have one I need to get it from the Notary... huh??? Thats something the school usually gives out right??? At this point I just want to jump over that counter and ring her frickin neck!!! I want to yell "YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!" but I don't, I take a deep breath and step back, I tell the kids "lets go, i'm pissed"... On my way out I see the first lady that helped me and she kindly asks "did you get everything done" I say to her "nope she said I can't withdrawl him without... (you know blah blah notary, proof of address)", I do mention to her that she was blabbing about the swap meet and stuff, first lady is rolling her eyes, obvious to me she has heard such stupidity coming from this girl before or something telling me she aint the sharpest knife in the drawer... So just to make sure, I ask the first lady, if they had a Residential Affidavit,and if that is what I need, she tells me the same thing, they don't have one, and yes I do need it... So ok I know what I need now but I'm still pissed about the whole ignore, swap meet, and most of all I was there for over an hour and all for nothing!!! My poor kids didn't have any escape from me, they had to hear me vent and vent, as you are now lol. Sooooo, I figure I'd go to the UPS store right next to vons cause I know they have Notary service, and according the the IDIOT they should have a copy for me to use.... Well would you know... NO SUCH PAPER EXISTS AT THE UPS STORE!!! UPS tells me "thats usually given out by the schools" uh DUH!!! so I thank him and head out, mad as ever... So to save myself some trouble I call Liberty High School in hopes they have a smarter staff then what I encountered at DP. I asked "do you have R.A. there" and what do you think she said??? Yup she said "YES!!!!" wheew.... relief... or so I think.... Hello Liberty is on the other side of town!!! Menwhile I've got a splitting headache, I'm tired and I'm starving. I decide after lunch we will just go home and figure something out, maybe my nephew or niece would be able to get an RA for me... I get home and a bright idea enters my head... I'll call Pat Diskin ES and ask them if the have one, and if its a standard form for all schools, they said yes and sure. Yay I'm gettin my form!!! So SYd and I walk over to the school, I tell them my rediculous story and they are dumbfounded at the stupidity!!!! They told me I should only need my ID to withdrawl him...I am his mother!!!! sounds right doesnt it??? Well they give me the form and I thank them, I notice the form has the school name on the top, and to save me the headache the office lady recopied it without the name (postits are great!!!) Thank you thank you thank you!!! O..O... as we were walking home I noticed the name of the school is on the bottome of the RA. CRAP what now!!!! so, I call my cousin and he's going to get one from LHS.... Hopefully tomorrow will go smooth!!! They better not tell me that I didnt need all that stuff to withdrawl him tomorrow, itshay will hit the fan if they do!!! Sorry so long.... I just needed to vent!!!
